Is there a minimum commitment period?

Our standard contracts are month-to-month for Starter plans. Growth and Enterprise plans offer 12-month and 36-month options with discounts of up to 25%. No long-term lock-ins required.

What is included in the setup fee?

The one-time setup fee covers port provisioning, cross-connect configuration, route server onboarding, LOA processing, and initial BGP session setup with our NOC team's assistance.

Do you charge for traffic/bandwidth?

No. Peer1IX uses port-based pricing — you pay for the port speed, not traffic volume. Peering traffic exchanged via our route servers or bilateral sessions is unmetered.

Can I connect at multiple PoP locations?

Yes. Growth and Enterprise plans include multi-PoP access. Additional PoP connections are also available as an add-on for Starter customers at ₹3,999/PoP/month.

What is your peering policy?

Peer1IX operates an open peering policy — any ASN with a legitimate routing prefix can connect to our route servers and peer publicly. Private Network Interconnects (PNI) are available on request.

How quickly can I be connected?

Once documents are signed and cross-connect is installed, we typically provision port access and BGP sessions within 48–72 business hours. Contact us for expedited provisioning options.
